- Rutgers Business School and Rutgers School of Law jointly offer the Juris Doctor (JD) / Masters of Business Administration (MBA) dual degree program on the Rutgers Newark campus.
- The Rutgers JD/MBA program offers students legal and business perspectives in such fields as finance, corporate practice, taxation, international, and other related fields.
- Because each school within Rutgers recognizes up to 12 credits offered by the other, students are able to earn both a JD and an MBA in just four years -- one year less than it would take to earn them individually.
- Generally, dual degree candidates take the required JD curriculum in the first academic year and the full-time MBA core curriculum in the second academic year.
- During the third and fourth academic year, candidates take a combination of both disciplines.
