- The M.A. in economics degree prepares students for doctoral studies in economics or business, for teaching positions at community colleges, or for careers as professional economists in business or government as researchers or policy analysts.
- The focal point of the program is the development of understanding of fundamental theories of micro-and macroeconomic behavior; development of necessary analytical skills for economic problem solving and empirical testing; and exposure to current economic research.
- The program takes 32 credits to be completed.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
