The degree program is designed to meet the needs of several groups of students:

those seeking to broaden their scientific background prior to application to, or entry into, professional or graduate school
those interested in teaching at the high school or junior college level

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Although a BS or BA degree in biology, chemistry or another natural or physical science is preferred, graduates in other disciplines who have an interest in Biomedical Science are encouraged to apply. However, it is strongly recommended that all applicants have completed or can show proficiency in the following undergraduate subjects:
algebra and trigonometry, or calculus
general biology
general chemistry
organic chemistry
general physics
advanced biology course (e.g., genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, comparative anatomy, etc.)
GPA of 3.0

Indian Students Eligibility:

Applicants must have passed graduation from a recognised institution with GPA of 3.0

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program
