Health educators are employed under a range of titles such as health educators, health education specialist, wellness coordinator, patient educator, health trainers, community liaison, community outreach worker, program manager, and public health educator.? Coursework reflects current professional standards established by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
