The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program at Jefferson (Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University) prepares graduates in the care of neonates and their mothers. NNPs practice in hospitals, neonatal intensive care units, labor and delivery, outpatient clinics and transport services providing and managing comprehensive health care to critically ill neonates and their families as well as collaboration with maternal child healthcare disciplines. Graduates of the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program are eligible for Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification through the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
