The Management Information Systems from?Chatham University prepares students to become critical thinkers and innovative designers of contemporary information systems in organizational settings. MIS majors develop both conceptual knowledge and hands-on skills in computing, relational databases, and web design. They will become competent in recognizing opportunities to improve business processes or areas, communicate with stakeholders, and implement and manage information systems projects.
This program provides the foundational understanding of business and organizations that is crucial to all careers, especially in an increasingly global and interconnected economy. The core curriculum in economics, accounting, organizational behavior, and statistics provides a rigorous foundation for highly specialized coursework within specific majors. All Chatham students are required to complete at least one internship, which connects classroom learning with real-world experience.
