The offerings of this curriculum provide the student with a strong background in microbiology and hands-on laboratory training, as well as a preparation for graduate and professional schools in fields ranging from molecular to field biology. Completion of the core and specified upper division elective courses satisfies the prerequisites for acceptance into a one year Clinical Laboratory Scientist training program.
