The mission of the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering is to provide:

High-quality undergraduate programs that continually incorporate advances in civil engineering technology.
Post-bacalaureate educational programs to satisfy the increasing need for highly educated engineers in various specialty areas of civil engineering.
Research activities consistent with the responsibilities of a research institution to develop new technology for the solution of emerging problems and to support programs of graduate education.

Academic Eligibility:

GRE Test Scores
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the GRE requirement has been waived for domestic and international students for the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 admission cycles.
Upload unofficial transcripts (English version only) with the online application. Original, official transcripts should not be sent until an offer of admission is made from the Graduate School.
Submission of IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores is required.
An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
A bachelor’s degree from an EAC-ABET accredited college or university in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
