LBS students cover a broad range of subjects in the course of fulfilling the programs general requirements. ?As they progress through the program, students select a single subject aligned with their unique career goals as a concentration. ?in addition, they may pursue many desirable double majors, such as Spanish or Music, to create additional career options.
Students will complete all major requirements, all Elementary Subject Matter Program requirements listed below, including?EDU 300,?EDU 302,?ETC 305?and?EDU 341?for the pre-requisite methods courses and earn the B.A. They do not complete professional methods courses or student teaching as an undergraduate student. ?This option is specifically designed prepare students for the CSET and to meet the demands for teaching in a multiple subject classroom.??
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all academic records that should include transcripts, mark sheets, grade reports, graduation certificates of secondary school showing courses undertaken and grade received
- Official transcripts should contain an English translation
- Submit personal statements of 3 to 5 paragraphs that should highlight how the university can help in achieving future goals.
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 71 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 5.5
- PTE: minimum score of 48
- SAT: minimum score of 430 in Evidence based reading and writing
- ACT: minimum 16 in the English section
