  • An area of concentration requires a minimum of 15 hours of coursework from within Anthropology, Political Science, or Sociology.
  • At least 50% of the courses applicable toward a graduate degree must come from courses at the 6000-level or above.
  • The MASS degree is perfect for individuals who want to take advantage of the resources within several disciplines to study a problem or simply to strengthen their training in applied or public service occupations (such as criminal justice, research, and data analysis, historical or cultural resource management, service or policy practice, or nonprofit program management).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold a 4-year bachelor’s degree program in Social Science or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • A GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
  • Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
