The course curriculum is okay, it’s rather difficult in the first few introduction courses but once the courses advance they are smaller and easier to understand as the professor can provide more attention towards their students.
I’m not aware of any scholarships for international applicants but there is a very high population of international students at the university. I was awarded the academic excellence scholarship and granted $7000 a year which significantly reduced my costs annually. I also have a university grant that was offered for financial aid. UConn now provides tuition-free for students from a family who make under a certain amount of income.
Challenging but exciting to learn
Scholarships are available to be applied. I received one from my university, which is renewable upon re-application. Work-study programs also give students a way to work while receiving aid. There are also student loans that can be used as a last resort for students that need further financial assistance
The business school is very strong. It is competitive to get into and the classes are usually pretty challenging and you learn a lot. Some classes were pretty easy but usually still found them to be beneficial.
You had to pay tuition room and board depending on if you lived nearby. Costs are different for out of state vs in state. Books you can find on Amazon or some classes you don't really need to buy them.
