  • The LLM degree program in biotechnology and genomics is associated with the Center for Law, Science and Innovation, the nation's largest and oldest multidisciplinary research center focusing on the legal implications of new scientific discoveries and emerging technologies. Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academics

Applicant must have completed a Juris Doctor degree program or a law degree program at a foreign institution that would qualify the applicant to practice law or pursue license to practice in that country and have submitted a complete application to the program. Selection is based on:

  • academic background and potential
  • career experience and ambitions
  • diversity of experience and background
  • space and resource limitations in the law school
  • strength of experience related to the program sought and other factors

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • The minimum requirements are an overall average of 60% in each year, as well as in all prerequisite subjects.
  • Subjects must include mathematics, chemistry, and physics in Class 11 and 12.
  • GPA of 3.0/4.0 [B Grade].

English Language proficiency:

  • Applicants from India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Pakistan should note that IELTS is the only proficiency score accepted by the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program.
  • Meeting the minimum English requirements does not guarantee admission. Students with higher English proficiency scores will receive priority in the admission assessment process.
  • Not all students will qualify for EAP-3106 in place of the required IELTS or TOEFL test scores.

Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum 292 score for a better chance of admission.

  2. Completed LLM Credential Assembly Service report:
  3. Resume that does not exceed three typed pages
  4. Personal statement that does not exceed 1,250 words (double-spaced typed pages)
  5. Transcripts from all institutions attended, including the transcript showing that the bachelor's degree and law degree were conferred
  6. Two letters of recommendation
  7. Writing sample
