- Wichita State University’s M.Ed. in Counseling is designed to prepare students to meet the requirements of the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) for Licensed School Counselors and Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board for Licensed Professional Counselors.
- Completing a M.Ed. in Counseling, students are able to provide counseling services in a wide range of settings, including PK 12 schools, colleges/universities, and agencies.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from recognized institution.
- Students should have a GPA of 3.0.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree with 70% or above in a related field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
