Master of Education [M.Ed] (Education - Elementary Specialization)

Most students in the M.Ed. in Elementary Education program from University of North Carolina Wilmington are employed full-time as teachers who take one or two courses during fall and spring semesters plus courses during the summer.
This schedule allows practicing teachers to complete program requirements in approximately 1.5 to 2 years. Others may be employed part-time or enrolled in graduate school full-time and, thus, are able to earn their Master’s degree more quickly. During the final semester, the student will complete a capstone project and defense.
