Paras Sharma Review at Melbourne Institute Of Technology, Melbourne | Collegedunia

RMIT for an International Student

PS
6.7 /10

I was accepted into the university and I went with the decision to study in the same university as waiting for confirmation from others would waste my time.

Course Curriculum :

I think the course is excellent but freshers having master's degree may lack the required experience to actually work with the course.

Exams :

A bachelor's degree in engineering and an IELTS score of 7 in the academic version of IELTS.

Placement :

Not very useful for a masters student as the limited amount of opportunities was not controlled by the university.

Internship :

Yes, but the internship did not provide any benefits as it was a research internship and there were no future work opportunities.

Events :

The campus life is great and the campus infrastructure is excellent. There are a lot of groups one can attend a lot of events every week.

Fees :

80000 AUD is the program fee.

Scholarship :

No, I didn't receive any scholarship.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio ranged from 100 to 20. Some classes consisted of 100 students and 1 faculty member while some classes consisted of only 20 students and 1 faculty member.

Hostel :

The accommodation cost was 600 AUD for a shared room plus electricity and water cost extra.
