Mit Khamar Review at University Of Technology Sydney [UTS], Sydney | Collegedunia

UTS and Engineering

Reputation and it has practical oriented course. There are career fairs which don't help that much to international students without PR. But there are a few ones which can definitely increase the chances of getting in without the PR. These would be usually small companies. It also has nearby Off-campus as it is cheap and it is near uni as well. The uni accommodation is quite expensive and I don't think many students can afford it.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum is good as they keep on updating it every semester.

Exams :

96 credits. I gave IELTS and the minimum score for this course is 6.5 in each. The batch size is quite big although it is difficult to compute it. Also, it has a compulsory internship component which helps me relate to Australian work culture. Also, the course has subjects which definitely interests me.

Events :

There are quite a few events like career fair and networking events.

Fees :

I have to pay around 15000 every semester and they did award me a scholarship of 25% which is good and I have been able to manage my living expenses so far through working part-time. Also, UTS provides financial loan at 0% interest rate for students which is very helpful for international students and domestic as well

Scholarship :

I received 25% due to high merit in B.E

Examination Structure :

The exams are mostly open book

Faculty :

The faculties are good and they are very supportive and they definitely have a lot of knowledge in their field. We have to book an appointment to get to them.
