QUT has a good ranking which will give me a recognized degree, and also with their learning resources outside the classroom, it will allow me to gain practical knowledge. Brisbane being a very hospital city made me consider it as well.
Course Curriculum :
The curriculum is very assignment based which gives us the opportunity to research and find information to ourselves. The tutors are very successful in clearing doubts and making sure the students absorb the required material.
Exams :
I have taken the SATs 1100/1600. IELTS 7.5. I've completed my bachelor's degree from Northwood University Michigan.
Placement :
The job opportunities in Brisbane seem very limited for international students, although there are a lot of vacation programs that I've yet to apply for. There are many opportunities in large corporates as well.
Internship :
Yes, it provides internships for bachelors level students and in campus jobs which should be applied for through the portal, this allows students to step into the corporate world through a university recommended filtration.
Events :
There are a lot of multicultural events that are hosted through the clubs of it. They can also be categorized into entertaining events and also professional events for the extra training of students.
Fees :
The fee structure was very fair in comparison to other universities in Australia, and also with a medium priced living cost in Brisbane it's an ideal location to start on education.
Scholarship :
I haven't received any scholarship although I have tried applying. My plan is to apply for aid during the next year.
Examination Structure :
The exams also play a bigger role in the modules as some subjects have a bigger percentage of the grade that depends on the final exam, since it's a two-semester year, the exams take place at the end of the semester in a span of 2 weeks.
Faculty :
As mentioned before the tutors and the lecturers are very involved with their work and make sure they can provide the maximum for their students in the allotted time period.
Hostel :
I live in off-campus accommodation although it is only for university students, it?s situated outside the city which gives a lower rent. With efficient transportation systems, it makes it easier to travel.
