It was the closest to home and the university was one that was reputed in Australia.
Course Curriculum
I feel that the curriculum in my university is somewhat relevant to my field. Though there is theoretical work, it is not compulsory for students to take up any practical work which I do not support. We have internships and industry projects. However, there is no guarantee that we will receive it upon applying. The education provided is basic and does not aid in teaching in-depth about the curriculum.
Exams
It was tedious. There were so many documents required such as a student essay, my transcript, diploma, and other certifications I achieved during my time in high school. I had to answer questions for the Australian immigration explaining why I chose to study in Australia. I had to complete any application forms required by the university and the government and had to complete a health test as well.

It is decent but international students do need to put in the effort. Especially when trying to become part of a committee.

Faculty
The faculty and staff are alright. They are not very helpful in terms of how to help students who struggle with the coursework or understanding of the unit. There also is no much support from their side. Students tend to self-study a lot. None of my professors have left a huge impact on me and to my knowledge, it seems to be the same for most of the students I know. Professors are approachable but are quite unhelpful. All of their advice seems to be the same which is to watch the lectures and complete the tutorial questions.
Hostel
Yes. I stayed in the studio apartments which are really nice. It's private as the bathroom and kitchen area in your room. The infrastructure is beautiful and the halls are quite clean. But it's quite pricy. Students can choose to stay in residence halls that are cheaper. There are shared bathrooms and a kitchen and it is not as clean as the studio but students interact a lot more. Some students can live off-campus in shared houses which come to 3/4 of the cost of a shared house. I do not recommend it though for 1st year as it becomes difficult to settle and make friends.
