About this course:

• Effective management of people and teams is critical to a business achieving its objectives. University’s management major provides the tools and concepts. Students need to understand how organisations work and the critical role of managers within them.
• An effective manager needs to be a good leader who can summarise a situation accurately and make sound decisions, delegate appropriately and inspire staff. Managers make good decisions when they understand the business they are in and how it fits into a wider context.
