- Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology - Industrial degree at the Cambrian College is offered a 3-year (6 semesters) program.
- This program will be delivered through traditional classrooms on campus.
- This program is designed to meet the needs of various industries that rely on electricians and electrical technologists to support and maintain the day-to-day operations of the industry.
- Courses include an in-depth study of electrical control systems, industrial wiring practices and troubleshooting, programmable logic controllers, supervisory control and data acquisition, human-machine interface, and etc.
- There are some highlights of this program are:
- The electrical lab features industry-standard 600-volt equipment
- Hands-on experience using AutoCAD, PLCs, and instrumentation tools
- Learn to write reports that meet standards set by the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists
- Students will be required to complete work preparation sessions prior to the work term to help develop an industry-specific resume and effective interviewing skills.
- Each year, the college offers a variety of opportunities for students to work across disciplines in exciting community and College endeavors.
- The teacher to student ratio is 1:17 which helps increase interaction between professors and students.
- Students can get opportunities for experiential learning through clubs and competitions.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A minimum of 60% is required in each prerequisite course.
- Students must qualify to obtain their OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma).
- Ontario High School applicants require the following Grade 30 credits (overall average of 70% is required):
- Any grade 12 English (C) or (U)
- Any grade 12 mathematics (C) or (U) (MCT4C is highly recommended)
- Any grade 11 physics (U) or grade 12 physics (C) or (U)
Others:
- Students must be 19 years or older before the beginning of classes.
- Students who are graduated from Ontario Secondary Schools and who have obtained their diploma (OSSD) or certificate (OSSC) may be considered for admission on an individual basis for some programs delivered at the College.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The students must have completed 10th and intermediate i.e 12th grade which has the minimum with 70% marks.
- The minimum qualification required to attend this program is a higher secondary school certificate.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

- Statement of Purpose: An essay or other written statement written by the student.
- Resume/CV: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and volunteer experience.
- Academic Documents: Submit copies of official transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended.
- Sample of written work: Student has to write something interesting as their sample essay in the application form.
- Statement of Interest: Reasons or intentions for pursuing studies in this program, including a description of prior experience.
- Two confidential letters of recommendation: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics and that references should submit along with the application system.
- Proof that students have enough money to support themselves during their stay in Canada.
- Letters of reference or any other documents the visa office tell students to bring.
