Note that as per the reports of 2018, an expected grade average for some of the courses like Nursing and Paramedics was nearly 80%, whereas technical programs like Business and It required a minimum of 85% and above. Cambrian College Admission Deadlines
Cambrian College observes a priority deadline while offering admissions to its various undergraduate and graduate courses for international students who want to be considered on an equal basis. The deadline for the same is February 1 post which the entries received are considered on a first-come, first-served basis till the availability of space permits. Visa Application Process
All International aspirants need to apply for a study permit and visa to study in Canada if they are looking to enroll in a course of 6 months duration or longer. The entire process usually requires 4 to 8 weeks and can be completed with the help of the nearest Canadian Embassy.
If you are a legal resident of coming from countries including China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, the Philippines, Senegal, or Vietnam, you can also apply via Student Direct Stream (SDS) for processing your visa faster. However, if you want to apply for visa via SDS and qualify for it, then you must prepare the following documents:
- Copy of Acceptance Letter
- Proof of payment of first-year tuition fee
- Proof of Guaranteed Investment Certificate(GIC) for 10,000 CAD
- Medical Exam
- English language proficiency test scores
Note: candidates failing to meet SDS requirements can always apply through the regular process, either online or at the Visa Application Centre.

International aspirants of the institute are highly encouraged to apply at least 90 days prior to the deadlines to avoid last-minute complications and increase their chances at admission amongst all the cutthroat competition. Ques. Which Programs are open to International Applicants?
Ans - International applicants may apply to any full-time Cambrian program. However, enrolment limits in some programs such as Health and Trades for which is seats fall less than priority will be given to Canadian applicants. A few of the popular programs among international students are Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, Corporate Safety, Justice, Protection, Securit, and Investigation, Animation, Graphic Design, etc.

Ques. Is it necessary to pay first-year fees in full?
Ans - Yes. First-year tuition fees are due prior to the student visa application. If the candidate is denied a visa, the fee is refunded.

Ans - Yes, You have to mail your original transcripts and your visa details. In case your visa is rejected, all your documents will be returned via mail. All the international candidates who acquired a visa, need to collect their transcripts once they arrived at the college in the International Office.
Ques. When can an international applicant apply for financial aid or scholarships?
Ans - International students are not eligible for grants and aids, however, the college does offer awards and bursaries of around $188 to $377 (USD) per year. This is specifically for those international students’ performance in the program, academic performance, community involvement, etc. Sill, it is to be noted that, Students are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply until the second semester of study.
