VCC is home to the Samsung Tech Institute, the only Samsung-certified appliance repair trainer in Western Canada. The Samsung Tech Institute provides a new and exclusive framework of knowledge that will directly impact the careers of graduates. This two-year diploma will train students through practical training on the latest appliances to operate, diagnose, and service Samsung products. They will learn to operate, diagnose, and service the latest computers, televisions, and mobile devices for employment as a technician in the consumer electronics repair industry.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Apprentice and Workplace Math 10 with a C- or equivalent
- Departmental approval based on relevant experience will be considered
- English 11 with a C- grade, or
- IELTS Academic overall 6.0 (no band less than 5.5)
Career and Placement after Course
Graduates of this program may find employment in the consumer electronics industry in positions such as computer repair technician, television repair technician, appliance repair technician, or mobile device repair technician.
