Capilano University Programs

Capilano University offers 100+ programs in five main study areas. These include Business and Professional Studies, Arts and Sciences. There is a one-year Business Administration Certificate and a two-year Business Administration diploma as well as an eight-month ESL combined MBA pathway program.

Capilano University offers a Cap Core course for baccalaureate degree students to enable them to become well-rounded graduates. The course is divided into 3 themes - foundation, integration and professional practice. It is mandatory for students studying for baccalaureate degree programs to complete 30 Cap Core credits along with other program requirements.

The university offers two study abroad program options for its students - full-term exchanges and field schools. Students opting for full-term exchanges can study abroad for a full term in any one of the 20+ countries and gain academic credit. Field schools allow students to go on 10 days to 5 week journey peers and CapU faculty members.

Capilano University Campus

Capilano University has its main campus at North Vancouver, and three regional campuses in Sechelt (Sunshine coast), CapU Lonsdale in the North Shore, and the Ts̓zil Learning Center at Líl̓wat Nation in Mount Currie, British Columbia.

• The main campus of Capilano University is surrounded by lush green forests and offers an array of opportunities for students who love to explore.
• The Center for Sports and Wellness center located on campus also offers a number of recreational activities from badminton, soccer, basketball to yoga.

Capilano University Accommodation

Capilano University offers affordable housing for students through its three residential buildings located off-campus. These residence halls are Grouse Hall, Cypress Hall, and Seymour Hall.

• The halls offer double and single-occupancy type rooms for students. Priority for special occupancy rooms are given to students with special accommodation needs.
• Student residences offered by Capilano University offer mandatory meal plans for seven days a week. Three meals are provided each day - breakfast, lunch and dinner.

• Official high school and/or university/college transcripts
• Grade 12 school certificate (Senior School Certificate awarded by state board, CBSE or ICSE)
• Min. GPA of 2.0(60%) in Grade 12 courses and two other grade 12 academic courses
