University College of the North is one of the most popular public universities with two main campuses and 12 regional centers. With an enrolment of nearly 3000 students, the institute only offers undergraduate degrees and boasts its hands-on practical training method, latest technology labs, and flexibility in programs. International students are offered more than 40 academic programs at University College of the North under five departments.

University College of the North Campus and Accommodations

In University College of the North, the finest seasons are found at the two campuses. Apart from two main campuses, 12 regional centers are spreading across Northern Manitoba for delivering programs to students with fewer amenities. Thompson, being more developed, has lots of facilities for entertainment purposes.

Separate buildings for academic, administrative, residential, and recreation buildings are present on campus within a few minutes of walk to provide comfortable and relaxed life to students. Aboriginal Center is the main attraction of campus among students to organize and support student-centered and student-focused activities to enhance their college life.

There is a gymnasium to take care of health, large spaces for students to play sports, a library to study and increase their knowledge, and a Learner Assistance Center for enhancing skills of learning. The presence of various clubs and organizations makes the campus environment lively and dynamic, bringing excitement to every student. There is a bookstore and a cafeteria at both campuses for students to enjoy favorite meals along with meal plans.

University College of the North Accommodation

University College of the North boasts residential facilities for both campuses. Thompson campus has furnished and unfurnished apartments. Pas campus has Carol Hall as a residence hall with double-occupancy rooms. Students need to fill in $30 as application fees.

Amenities available at each room include chairs, tables, closet, dresser, laundry facilities, lounge, and kitchen facilities.

The cost of living in Canada per month for housing facilities is $900-1,000 depending on furnishing and other factors. The family housing option is available for students who want to shift with families. University College of the North offers post-secondary programs, adult learning programs, apprentice training, etc. to students in the form of degrees, diplomas, and certificates. There are five departments which are Faculty of Arts, Business & Science, Adult Learning Center, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Health, and Faculty of Skilled Trades Apprenticeship and Technology. UCN offers various degrees such as BA (3-years and 4-years), BBA, Bachelor of Education, and Bachelor of Nursing (collaboration with another university).

On-Campus
