Marine diesel engines come in all shapes and sizes but they all need one thing. To become a professional marine diesel mechanic the student must learn how to install, operate and maintain a variety of diesel engines and we can teach the student. This Course offers a workshop, classroom and work term experience that will prepare the student for a career in the operation and maintenance of marine diesel engines and auxiliary equipment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Adherence to the Application and Admission Regulations either upon high school graduation (following a period of employment subsequent to graduation) or by transfer from another post-secondary institution. Proof of satisfactory physical fitness, visual acuity, color vision, hearing, etc. prior to writing Transport Canada exams. It must be provided by way of a signed Transport Canada Seafarer's medical from an approved physician.
