Feel the pull of the tide, or crave a life on the high seas? If so, this is the program that is the right choice. This Nautical Science diploma program prepares the student to qualify for Transport Canada's Watchkeeping Mate certificate of competency allowing the student to sail anywhere in the world as Third Officer or Second Officer on a wide variety of ship types.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Adherence to this Application and Admission Regulations either upon high school graduation (following a period of employment subsequent to graduation) or by transfer from another post-secondary institution. Proof of satisfactory physical fitness, visual acuity, color vision, hearing, etc. prior to writing Transport Canada exams. It must be provided by way of a signed Transport Canada Seafarer's medical from an approved physician.
