I choose this college because of the program and location, only a few colleges in Canada offers this program. It is also a competitive program to get into, taking approximately 10 students out of 120 applicants.
Course Curriculum
It is very course heavy even though it is a Master's thesis program. This is because you can become a school psychologist after the Master's program in Alberta. The course load is to ensure that individuals who want to terminate at the Master's level have the appropriate courses.
Fees
The fee structure is based upon whether your program is a course based on thesis-based. Since mine is thesis-based, it is a little cheaper.
Examination Structure
There are a few exams throughout the semester. However, some courses do not have exams because they expect that if you are in the program, you should be able to take tests and exams wouldn't be a fair way to assess us.
Faculty
They have increased the amount of faculty from 5 to over 10. They each have their specialty and bring it to the course they teach. It also gives us the opportunity to research in different areas.
