Waterloo has a good reputation for this program and is well known for its research. I was also looking at Waterloo because I had a sibling that attended Waterloo for their undergrad in a different program.
Course Curriculum
I enjoy the classes I'm taking. There are many options for those who want a diverse curriculum and the practical labs allow for hands-on experience. There are also several minors that can be achieved through this program.
Internship
Yes, Waterloo offers a co-op program. The potential jobs are usually of good quality and relevant to the program. Most employers pay minimum wage. If they don't they usually provide a stipend of a few grand for the term.
Fees
My tuition for Waterloo is about $4100 per term. This includes student society fees and student insurance.
Examination Structure
The exam structure is usually fair. The structure and weighting of the exams are mostly dependent on the professor of the class, however, the University is the one who schedules when the exams will be written.
Faculty
Waterloo is a great school for research and technological innovations. The co-op program here makes it easier to earn money while in school and gain experience for my future schooling and employment.
