I decided to go to UWO because it is in my hometown. Great way to save money during college is staying home so thats the main reason why I chose UWO. However, it has always been my dream university since I was 7 years old.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is like any other curriculum you would expect at any other universities. You can say that Western can be a little competitive due to the numbers of attendees, but as you get closer to 3rd or 4th year it turns out to be totally fine.
Fees
Western tuition is structured in a way that it covers general academictuition, faculty fees, student council fees, insurance, mandatory bus pass and other club ancillary fees. This come to being around a total of $8313 per year for general undergraduate degree. Tuition can varry if taking engineering or nursing or any other program.
Examination Structure
All multiple choice. I so far had one exam with short anwser and I am in my 3rd year. There are not many essay question based exams in health science. Not for the courses I have taken the least. Mostly multiple choice.
Faculty
I can say that Health Science faculty is okay in terms of providing genral support needed. The academic counsellors can be alittle misguiding at first only because there are so many that it can be challenging to helping a student at the individual level.
