Elena Review at Humber College, Toronto | Collegedunia

Humber college experience

E
6.8 /10

It had the program I wanted, very flexible classes and had student grants/ scholarship opportunities. I thought this school was the best fit for my lifestyle. I also liked that they had an internship program.

Course Curriculum :

My current curriculum is ok, I find the courses are a little bit repetitive and there's lots of overlap. 6 courses per semester is also a lot of work. The scheduling of exams between courses should be done better

Internship :

Yes. However the internship program is not that good. If you do not live in a specific area they will not help you find an internship. I found the whole process very stressful. I would prefer if the college has helped me find a placement.

Fees :

3 semesters and three patients at the beginning of each semester. This was a good break down for payments

Examination Structure :

There is no exams just tests/ projects. I liked that there was no exams because I do not like exams that are worth a great deal of my mark. I am not a fan of how the tests in my program were done, different programs did them differently which was confusing.

Faculty :

The professors at my school are nice but there was a lot of bugs in the program which they were not too helpful with. I wish the professors made a more welcoming atmosphere.
