Good co-op program. I was offered some incentive to attend money wise but the main reason I went to Brock is that I have family in the area and I was able to move in with them to save a lot of money in living expenses.
Course Curriculum :
Lots of overlap with course material, otherwise good. Mostly general chemistry and biology than biochemistry though which is understandable given this knowledge is needed before diving into biochemistry.
Internship :
There is a co-op program. They make it seem really beneficial but they don't really do much to help you find a job or edit your documents. Also very expensive and they make you take (and pay for) a whole course that doesn't even count as a credit.
Fees :
$700-800 per course. About $1500 in ancillary fees. Science courses usually have an equipment and chemical disposal fee of $50-200.
Examination Structure :
The exam structure is really good. They make an effort to give time to study and minimal overlap/back to back exams! Very rarely do we have exams on two days back to back! Usually at least 2-5 days in between each exam.
Faculty :
The faculty are surprising esteemed. The professors have really awesome qualifications and have done some really groundbreaking and novel research, surprising for the small size of the university.
