The Bygone chunk.

5.8 /10

Based on web search and reviews. The admission process was done by a consulting firm and it was smooth as well as hassle-free. But the course fee was so high, still managed to pay the last penny by myself. I was a Bachelors holder before applying to the program of this particular college. There was an application fee of 150$ to get the acceptance letter.

Exams :

I wanted to continue my studies in the field or stream which I opted in my university education. Health informatics was found to be one of the most required future jobs as it takes care of all the software aspects surrounding any given health facility like hospitals, old age care, childcare, etc. IELTS was a mandatory requirement and I appeared for the above mentioned. The final result I got was 7.5 for which a score of 6 overall was required while I applied for this course at this college.

Internship :

Yes, they had internships as well as job opportunities. Unfortunately, I was not told about the internship opportunity for my program from the college as it leads me to miss my opportunity for an internship as well as jobs.

Fees :

The fee structure was around 9000 CAD per semester plus there was not given information about scholarships. Also, there were multiple times where I had to pay an extra fee to cover additional subjects, training materials, GNED subjects as well as college printer fees too. I have availed a study loan for the first semester from a bank in India, and the rest was paid off by myself working hard.

Faculty :

I would like to note that the program has a vast application in future as well as all the courses were thrilling. But I dont like the way some professors deal the subject as well as its outline. Teaching methodology was not up to the mark as far as I consider the information and knowledge I received from the same.

Hostel :

Every expense to the last penny was paid off by myself through a part-time job as well as having an efficient money management skill. To save money, I lived off-campus as campus hostel was so expensive.
