Rachel Feldberg Review at McGill University, Montreal | Collegedunia

McGill Uni!

RF
9.5 /10

I wanted to explore the city of Montreal, as I grew up in Ottawa which is not too far. I also grew up speaking French and wanted to move to a city where French is present and I could practice. McGill is also known worldwide for its academics and I wanted to get a good education.

Course Curriculum :

I think the course curriculum is great, however, there are some courses that I find useless and I think they could be replaced with better ones. I also think that education courses need to be reviewed.

Fees :

McGill is very expensive for students coming from out of province or internationally, however it is extremely cheap for Quebec residents. This is quite frustrating, however, it is worth it in my opinion.

Examination Structure :

The exam structure is very good! It is during a certain period and they tell us well in advance when we will have to take our exams. Sometimes they do not have control over how close two exams might be to one another.

Faculty :

I think that the faculty doesn't get as much credit as it should. People think Education is an "easy" program, however that is not the case. It is a great faculty with so many great people.
