We get a lot of choices on what we want to choose for our next course and having a lot of options gives us a chance to only choose those courses that we want to do.
Tuition fee for my program is $32500 ($3250 per course)
One of the best institutes in the world due to its faculty and facilities. It gives all money value means the money is worth it for this institute. Excellent teaching methods by staff easy to learn and understand
It fees is not to high as compared to other institutes and universities in world. I gave given my fees in rupees and it is all around 7 lakh. One of the best experience in my life is to take admission to this institute
I did not find the curriculum of my campus satisfied me. I was so unhappy with it that I dropped part of my degree (which was a minor in History) and primarily focused on my English degree. Even within my English degree - I only found a few classes that had has reading recent publications versus classics, which what I primarily studied.
Many forces played a factor for me to choose the Glendon campus (extension of York University) as my school. I liked the fact that the classes were small enough for me to establish person relationships with my professors, the school had a small amount of students in all four years - making it feel like less of a jungle. And finally, I was able to peruse and finish my studies in French for it was the only campus in Toronto to offer it as part of my English B.A.
Curriculum of my program is upto date and it include research experience. University’s programs are built on a solid ethical foundation and with strong principles.
I chosen York University because I want to pursue CPA in future and this course has prerequisite courses towards CPA.
I personally feel the course curriculum needs to be updated every few years because a field like computer science has updates almost every day. The curriculum in general is useful to this day but since it's probably not frequently updated, some might say it doesn't have important things that is relevant at this time. An example would be: The curriculum teaches coding languages like Java, HTML, JavaScript and all that which is very relevant today but it doesn't teach newer languages like python which many people prefer to use.
I picked this University because I had a friend from my hometown who was attending the university doing the same degree. He referred me to the university and told me the program and professors were good. I picked the program because of the job prospects after graduation.
Its hard at first, so we need to keep up with the syllabus .
I wanted to study in Ontario, and York University is one of the best schools present, it has a great engineering department and the campus is culturally diverse.
The courses are great but complex. If one can handle the complexity, they can achieve great marks but one has to be consistent in studies. They are relevant and up to date.
21,500/yr CAD
The curriculum is relevant and updated with the changes in the business world. Course material is relevant and uses the present-day companies as examples to teach concepts. Frequently given projects for industrial exposure and research participation.
$30,000CAD yearly for 30 credits.
I think the course curriculum was pretty good. As mentioned earlier, many different subjects were offered - which allowed made me learn how to develop foundational skills in different areas. For example, I learned programming languages like Java, C, and Fortran and I also learned CAD modelling softwares such as Solidworks, NX10, and Creo.
York University is the only university in Canada with a Space Engineering program. I found the syllabus and courses to be very interesting and this program offered courses pertaining to mechanical, electrical, geomatics, and computer engineering. I had applied to 3 universities in the GTA area but got selected here first. My grade 12 average was 89.5%.
It is a good curriculum that is structured in a way for students to find manageable and succeed in
There are many scholarships available to gain at York but they are hard to achieve for students. There have been many cuts recently to Ontario education so payment has been harder for many students as OSAP is not reduced by a considerable amount that affects many families from being able to send a child to university.
