Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a B.A. or B.Sc. in an area related to the chosen field of specialization with significant research experience.
- The minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is 3.0/4.0 (second class–upper division) or a minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0 during the last two years of full-time university study.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The university degree, described above, must have been completed with a minimum standing of 3.3/4.0 or the equivalent, according to the grading scale on the transcript.
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

- McGill Certificate of Proficiency in English or McGill Certificate of Proficiency - English for Professional Communication: Certificate of Proficiency awarded.
- Duolingo English Test (DET) is not accepted for admission to graduate programs at McGill University.

- Personal statement: which describes your interests in psychology and your career goals. Please indicate the area of psychology that you want to study (e.g. developmental, social, etc.) and the name of one or more faculty members with whom you would like to work.
- Three Reference Letter: Students will choose letter writers who will be able to comment on their academic record and other experiences or relevant skill sets.
- CV/Resume: including a summary of your academic background, professional experience, and other relevant activities (e.g., community involvement, volunteer work, etc.).
- Academic documents.
- English Language Requirement Scores like TOEFL, IELTS, etc.
