University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) offers a Master of Science in Computer Science for a duration of 16 to 24 months.

The Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) at the UNB’s Fredericton Campus was the first computer science faculty in Canada.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students have to complete a master's degree in Computer Science (or related discipline such as Engineering or Science) from a recognized university.
Students have a computer Science background which includes software engineering, data structures, operating systems, algorithms, and computer architecture.
Students have a minimum GPA of B for the MCS by Coursework and normally a minimum of B+ for the MCS by thesis/report program.

Indian Student Eligibility

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

Statement of Interest: Student has to fill a description of research interests in the application form.
Three References: Employment references include past employers, co-workers, subordinates, or clients. Professional references are people who know you on a professional basis. Academic references are instructors and vocational counselors.
ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
