Post Basic Bachelor of Science [P.B.B.Sc] (Nursing) From CMC Vellore, Vellore

• Candidates should have passed the qualification of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Honors) in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Candidates should be registered with the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course (applicable to male candidates), with NUID number.
• Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of clinical experience as a staff nurse preferably in the concerned clinical speciality in the hospital prior to enrollment.
• Candidates shall be medically fit
• Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Indian Nursing Council before admission.

CMC Vellore P.B.B.Sc Nursing Eligibility

• The candidates must have passed higher secondary or senior secondary or intermediate or 10+2or an equivalent examination recognized by the University or 10+1 in or before the year 1986. 
• The candidates must have passed the qualification of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or other relative courses.
• A certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer is necessary.

• The selection is based on merit.
• A preliminary test (CBT) is taken after the shortlisting of the candidates.
• The candidates need to appear in a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by special assessments & interviews which are conducted by the college. 
• The admission will be based on the performance in this test.
