Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Bidar was established in 1980 under Sri Nanak Jhira Saheb Foundation (Trust). Initially, the college was affiliated to Gulbarga University, Gulbarga and in 1998 it got affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.
