NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Management Studies, Nerul, started in the year 2004 is one of the top B-Schools in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. National Centre for Rural Development founded by Hon’ble Shri Dilip Walse Patil was established to educate the rural masses of India. The management institute offers MMS/MBA and MCA courses to aspirants who have completed their graduation or equivalent in the relevant field. 

Sterling Institute of Management Studies is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. SIMS ranks “A” Grade Business School by AIMA & Business Standard 2017. Further, the institute ranks “A” Grade Business School by the Competition Success Review-GHRDC B-School survey 2019. Sterling Institute of Management Studies is approved by AICTE, DTE and the Government of Maharashtra. 

SIMS offers 100% placement assistance to the final year students of MMS and MCA courses. Soft skill training, industrial visits, and conferences are conducted by the Institute for the overall development of the students. Workshops and industrial visits help the students to understand the real world. The placement cell is working towards better placement opportunities being provided to the students. A few companies that visit the campus during the placement drive are Syntel, TCS, Café Coffee Day, Capgemini, KPMG, Voltas and Vodafone. The highest package being offered was 20 LPA.
