The college offers undergraduate courses in arts and commerce streams. It is affiliated to University of Burdwan. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). HBC has been awarded with 4 star statuses by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The main focus of the college is to provide education to the economically weak, rural and needy students.
