About GMC
Government Medical College was established in 2016 in Uttar Pradesh. The college is also known as Rani Durgavati Medical College, Banda. It is affiliated with King’s George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers MBBS at the undergraduate level on the basic of NEET UG score followed by counselling conducted by NTA. A total of 100 seats are annually allocated for MBBS admission.

GMC Banda offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking MBBS admission need to appear and obtain a valid score in NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates with a valid score are required to register for the counselling conducted by the following commitee:
- Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, is responsible for conducting State Counselling for admission to state quota seats.
- The Medical Council Committee (MCC) conducts counseling for the All-India Quota seats.
