GKCIET invites application for admission to the diploma courses and 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission to the courses.

Eligibility

• Candidates seeking direct admissions to full-time diploma programmes, must have passed higher secondary or 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognized Board 
• Minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) in aggregate should be secured in the qualifying examination.
• For vertical entry, a candidate must have passed certificate course at GKCIET with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) marks
• Must be born before July 1, 2005. There is no upper limit

Selection Criteria

• Admissions are purely made on the basis of merit in the All India GKCIET Entrance exam or GET-II for the academic year in case of direct admissions.
• For vertical entry, the institute conducts a test consisting of 2 papers of 100 marks each with equal weightage. A candidate is required to clear the test for selection.
• The entrance exam is mandatory for admissions to candidates belonging to states other than West Bengal.
