Masters' Union PGP-TBM Admission 2023

Masters’ Union offers a unique program- PGP-TBM for a duration of 16 months. The course is provided under the following core disciplines:

  • Computing, Business Analytics & Statistics (CBAS)
  • Communications (COM)
  • Finance & Fintech (FIFI)
  • Marketing, Branding & Design (MABD)
  • Management & Strategy (MABD)

Students also get to select any two out of the available Industry concentrations: Banking, PE and VC, Digital and eCommerce, Technology, Product and Project Management, Family-Run Business, and Advanced Data Analytics.

Masters’ Union PGP-TBM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The minimum age should be 21 and valid MUBAAT score + PI scores are considered

Masters’ Union PGP-TBM Selection Criteria

Applicants need to have a valid MU-BAAT score. The admission panel may consider waiving it off under exceptional circumstances.

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks in the Entrance Exam followed by a Personal Interview.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview. The interview panel will consist of eminent Masters’ from academia and the industry, as well as members of the core team. The interviews will be held in Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore, and over Skype in exceptional cases.

As a part of the interview process, candidates will also be given a case study to solve.

Once the Admissions Office receives feedback from the panel, the application will be re-evaluated, and then presented to the Admissions Committee, which makes the final decision for each candidate.

Candidates will be notified about the final decision regarding their application through an email. The entire admissions process (from the Application Deadline) will take up to 4 weeks.

  • Register and Log-in
  • Fill in the Application Form.
  • Attach the below-mentioned documents.
  • Submit the form along with the application fee.

For the purpose of selection, the candidates must submit the following along with the application form- 

  • Latest Resume
  • Up to 2 Recommendations from any of the following:
    • Direct managers
    • Teachers or Professors (undergrad level and above)
    • Mentors
    • VCs or Angel Investors
    • Customers or Partners
  • One Essay in response to one of the following questions (300-500 words each):
    • If you had $100 Million to acquire a company, which one would you acquire, and why?
    • Tell us about one experience or incident that fundamentally changed your life. You can also choose to submit the essays in the form of videos (2-minute-long each).
  • Supplementary Information (In the form of a portfolio, essay or video)

FAQs

Ques. I don’t have a bachelor’s degree, can I still apply for admission?

Ans. Yes. While the vast majority of the applicants have undergraduate and/or advanced degrees, it is not compulsory for admission. Candidates who do not hold an undergraduate degree, but who have an excellent career record and GMAT score are also welcome to apply.

Ques. Can one submit the application through an offline mode?

Ans. The institute only accepts applications submitted electronically. This allows them to process the applications more quickly. It also allows the candidates to stay informed of the status of their application throughout the process by checking it online.

Ques. Is the interview process compulsory?

Ans. Yes. All applications are evaluated by the Admissions Committee and a short-list of interviewees is compiled. At this stage, only those selected for the interview continue with the selection process which includes a panel interview and a case analysis.

Ques. What types of financial fundings are available for the candidates?

Ans. Each year, Masters' Union awards scholarships to participants. For the inaugural cohort, the Masters’ are offering 60 full scholarships. In addition, they encourage candidates to explore all sources of financing which may be available to them. There are a variety of international and national scholarship programs, as well as attractive loans available through external sources such as- Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance and HDFC.
