Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery [MBBS] From VMRF, Salem

1. To be eligible for admission to the MBBS Degree course, a candidate must have passed in H.Sc.,or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in Graduate Medical Education Regulations – 1997 as amended in 2018 and must have come in the merit list of NEET for the admission to MBBS degree course. In respect to the candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC category,the marks obtained should be 40%.

?2  In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS Degree course for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50% in NEET to MBBS Degree Courese held for the concerned academic year. However, in respect to the candidates belonging SC, ST and OBC, the minimun marks shall be at 40% and PWD at 45%.?

3  Admission under foreign/NRI category :

As per the guidelines and direction of the Honerable Supreme Court of India in its order dated 22.08.2017 passed in W.P.(C) No. 689 of 2017, Government of India and MCI time to time.

Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31^st December of the year of admission.
