Chilarai College, Dhubri

Chilarai College, Dhubri was established in 1973. It is affiliated with Gauhati University and accredited with ‘B’ Grade by NAAC. The college was brought under the deficit grant-in-aid system in the year 1987 and University Grants Commission (UGC) listed the college under UGC Act of 2(f) and 12(B) in the year 2001. The College is located in the district of Dhubri, the western part of Assam. The College is 4 kms away from Indo-Bangladesh Border, half kms from NH-31 and approximately 22 kms from Dhubri, District Headquarter.

NCC - The NCC unit of college has following achievements-

• The NCC unit has qualified 20 cadets for BSF and army in Indian Defense Staff
