About KLC
Kingston Law College (KLC), Kolkata is a privately owned legal institution established in 2004. KLC is the 2nd Law college to be established in West Bengal and the Largest Private College in West Bengal Seat Capacity. It is a part of the Kingston Educational Institute, situated in Barasat, West Bengal. The college is recognized by the BCI and owes its affiliation to the West Bengal State University. It offers 5 law courses namely BBA-LLB, BA-LLB (Hons.), BA-LLB, LLB and LLM under the guidance of highly qualified faculty members. The college boasts of a sprawling campus with lush greenery spreaded over 28 acres of land with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. KLC Kolkata Admissions
For BA-LLB (Hons.), BA LLB and BBA-LLB courses the students are required to obtain a minimum aggregate of 45% for general, 42 % for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST in 10+2 to become eligible for admission.
Admissions to the LLB course are purely based on merit obtained by the students in the last qualifying exam
Students opting for the LLM course are required to score a minimum aggregate of 45% in their bachelor’s degree course. The Bachelor’s degree may be obtained in any preferred discipline. There is no age bar for the LLB course.
The College, however, reserves the right to give preference to candidates who have scored above 60% marks in (10+2) or any equivalent examination, in all the courses
Application Procedure
- Visit the college official website klcc.edu.in
- Fill up the application form which is available under the admissions tab by clicking on the “save your seat” option.
- The students can also enroll for an “online application demo” available under the admissions tab.
- In the online application, candidates need to fill in their complete information correctly and submit it before the said deadline.
- The booking amount for the individual courses is INR 10,000
- Payment can be done through NEFT, challan, or net banking.

Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
The candidates satisfying the criteria based on means will be shortlisted based on academic merit. The candidate is expected to have secured a minimum of 75% in the West Bengal qualifying examinations and the percentage is applicable across all the levels. The specific eligibility criteria for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship are as mentioned below:
