Amity JEE 2023 Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Exam Day Instructions

Amity JEE Exam Pattern: Pearson VUE conducts the Joint Entrance Exam in computer-based mode (CBT) each year. No updates related to any changes in paper pattern has been notified by the officials.

This year, Amity JEE 2023 will be conducted in May 2023 (tentatively) and the scheduling or rescheduling of the examination will be done in the last week of June. Amity JEE will be conducted in a single sitting from 12 pm to 2 pm.  4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

The entrance exam will comprise questions from General English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. Read on to know more about the detailed paper pattern, marking scheme, section-wise questions distribution, books to prepare from for the exam.

  • Number of Questions – 90 questions with General English section having 15 questions and rest 3 sections have 25 questions each.
  • Nature of Questions – Objective type i.e. MCQs
  • Exam Mode – Online i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Exam Duration – 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes
  • Exam Medium – The question papers at all exam centers will be in English.
  • Marking Scheme – Each question carries 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Amity will release the mock test for JEE in due course of time. You are advised to solve ample practice tests in order to boost your preparation and confidence level. Points to remember about Amity JEE

  • Students have to take a print out of the Amity JEE admit card and bring the same to the examination center.
  • Candidates are required to show their admit card along with a photo id proof i.e. Driving License/ Aadhar Card/ Voter ID/ Passport etc. in original to the invigilator when asked for.
  • Students who are appearing for Amity JEE test in particular locations outside India, need to pay additional fee at the time of taking the test at the test center.
  • Candidates who book the slots but didn’t take the test will have to pay INR 750 in order to get another date.
  • You can reschedule the exam only once and up to 48 hours prior the test.
  • Candidates are allowed to leave the examination center only after final submission of the Amity JEE.
  • Use of Electronic devices such as Bluetooth devices, microphones, calculator etc is strictly prohibited in the test center.
