Deggendorf Institute of Technology has made it mandatory for all international applicants to submit a language certificate. Visa Process for International Students
Applicants coming from Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, or the United States can enter Germany without a visa. And if they stay in the country for more than three months, they can apply in Germany for the residence permit. The same applies to students from Andorra, Brazil, El Salvador, Honduras, Monaco, and San Marino. They may enter without a visa if they do not intend to subsequently work in Germany.
