- Research into the earth system makes important contributions to resource management and researches problem solutions in areas such as oil and raw material geology and materials science.
- The master's program in geosciences offers a nationwide unique interdisciplinary education with the possibility to focus on geology, soil science, and mineralogy.
- It is based on the one hand on research in terrestrial, marine and atmospheric geosciences, on the other hand on the needs of the labor market at home and abroad.
