The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam is held by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the employment of candidates in Grade "B" and "C" category posts in various Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices. The SSC Combined Graduate Level exam is divided into four tiers: tiers I and II are computer-based, while tiers III and IV require job seekers to complete a descriptive paper as well as a computer competency test or skill test and document verification. The entire registration and communication process will be place on the SSC CGL's official website. Before being officially picked, candidates must pass each step of the SSC CGL exam in order to advance to the next.
The Mains test is a multiple-choice objective exam that is administered online. For the most part, Paper 1 and Paper 2 are administered, however for some positions, Paper 3 and Paper 4 are administered as well. Each paper is worth 200 points, and there are two hours given for each one. Tier I consists primarily of screening and scoring examinations. Tier-II is the merit-based level.
